The Month of May

I took a trip down south to see my sister and her family and my niece, Sophie, made her first communion!

We took her to get her ears pierced before the big day... hard to believe she's the same baby I rocked and fed, and now she's feeding mine :)

It was a beautiful event and so good for this Momma to get away for a bit. I took Baby Brother with me, since he hadn't met our southern kin, and left The Boy and Dad. Nice to get away, but I did miss them and they secretly hoped I would actually come back...
