James Bartlett 2009-2010

James Bartlett, age 6 months, Avon, went home to Glory on February 22, 2010.

James is survived by his primary caretaker the writer of this blog Nathan Bartlett, and two sisters, Lola and Georgia Bartlett.

James was adopted from the Petsmart in Avon and adjusted quickly to his new tank, surviving a brutal attack from his sisters and rallying back around. His strength was admired by all.

Services were held in the Bartlett Family bathroom.

James update

James has been transferred to a rehabilitation unit for occupational therapy. He appears to be doing well. Thanks for all of the candelight vigils and red ribbons posted all around the neighborhood in hopes of good health for him. Looks like he's going to pull through.

A new family member.

Meet James. The Boy won him at the fair. Instead of taking home a fish in a baggie, I sweet-talked the Carnie into just refilling the basket of ping pong balls in exchange for not taking a fish. I know a guy who can get us one pretty cheap, I said, with a slight point to my significant other.
